Services

More Than Mom YXE is always inclusive with families - the more support for mom, the better. That's why a support person is always included and encouraged to attend all appointments with Mom and Baby.

**All services and packages are available in clinic or in the comfort of your own home (within Saskatoon)**

Prenatal appointment

(60 min, only in-clinic)– $100+GST

So much time and thought often goes into planning for birth and preparing for the “what ifs” of delivery, yet planning how you will feed your baby before they arrive is just as important. Taking the time to explore your options and clarify your goals can help give you and your baby a gentle head start. These one-on-one sessions offer personalized education on the basics of breastfeeding, along with practical tips, reassurance, and space to explore your individual questions, concerns, or fears in a supportive, judgement-free environment.

            Includes: General education regarding infant feeding, development of personalized feeding plan/goal, Maternal physical assessment (if desired), confidence building and support planning. Discussing pumping and flange measurement available, as well. The same day of your prenatal appointment, you will receive an email with all the information discussed within our session. 

Initial postpartum consult

(if no prenatal appointment) – $150+GST – 60-90 minute consult

Feeding your baby may seem natural and intuitive, but it can sometimes come with unexpected challenges and a lot of learning. During your initial postpartum consult, we’ll work together to ease stress, address any difficulties, and create a plan that aligns with your feeding goals. This personalized session is ideal if you’re experiencing latch difficulties, nipple pain, concerns about your baby’s intake, suspected oral restrictions, or recurrent clogged ducts or mastitis. Really, it’s perfect for any questions, worries, or need for reassurance — a gentle space to make sure feeding is going as smoothly as possible for both you and your baby.

            Includes: assessment of mom and baby, discussion of feeding goals, addressing immediate concerns, working with family to develop strategies to help both mom and baby on their feeding journey with small, achievable goals. This may include referrals to other health professionals with consent. 

Follow-Up Appointment

$75/hr +GST

We want Moms and families to feel supported and follow up is a key part of that. Setting up a plan is one thing, but helping troubleshoot latch problems, supply issues, oral restrictions and growth spurts ensures you feel comfortable and confident.

            Includes: discuss how previous strategies are working and then build upon what is working for both mom and baby and what needs to change to fit your needs.

What You Get:

Initial Postpartum Consult

Includes:

  • Assessment of both mom and baby
  • Thorough oral assessment of baby
  • Discussion of feeding plan and goals
  • Addressing immediate feeding concerns with some new strategies to try  

2 Follow-up Appointments

  • One hour follow-up appointments
  • Address previous strategies and what is or isn't working you, your baby and your family
  • Focus will be on being flexible with zero judgement, if any of your goals may change along the way 

There is so much information when it comes to having a new baby. Sometimes, it's impossible to prepare for every aspect of newborn life before it happens. 

The Post-Baby Package is designed for those parents that may have been caught off guard by the challenges that come with feeding a newborn. Everyone has opinions, its easily overwhelming, and there is a bit of a learning curve to get to where you are confident in your decisions and can settle into your new family routines. 

This package is perfect if there are suspected oral restrictions or oral ties have already been diagnosed. 

  These can be in-clinic or at-home (within Saskatoon) but all appointments must occur in the same location.

Prenatal

What You Get:

Prenatal Appointment

  • Any time after 34 weeks, we will meet for a  60 minute consult that includes general feeding education, assessment of mom and development of feeding plan and goals

 1 Follow-up Appointment

  • One hour follow up appointment
  • This will help us ensure that the prenatal plan that was developed, is working in your family. If not, then we ditch what isn't working and adapt to what will fit better.
  • Includes thorough oral assessment of baby
  • Helps Mom feel confident in breastfeeding
  • Focus will be on being flexible with zero judgement, if any of your goals may change along the way 

   

The Prenatal Package is the most prepared plan. You recognize feeding your baby is a big part of parenting in the first year and you want to start out on the right foot with all the information. 

With the Prenatal package, we will work together before baby is born to develop the best plan with manageable expectations. After baby arrives, we can fine tune that plan and adapt it in real-time to help everyone feel their best and ensure you feel supported through your feeding journey.

This can be in-clinic or at-home (within Saskatoon) but both appointments must occur in the same location.

All fees are calculated based on clinic visits or clients living Saskatoon . If you live outside of this range, and would like visits to take place in your home, please contact me for prices/mileage.
